While doing the combat conditioning class I was able to lose 10 - 15 pounds, while still eating whatever I want and even eating more than I did before. I also lost 3 inches off my waist, which helped me stay well under my target, so that I could get the maximum points in that area on my Air Force PT test. Another awesome thing is that I can now run farther and faster before, without tiring, even though we don't run all that much.

Throughout all of this the coaches have always been motivational and very helpful. The techniques that we learn in BJJ are very precise so that the opponent has very few things that they can do, if any, to stop you once you get part way through the technique. The coaches will go over a technique and we will pair up and practice on each other. During this time the coaches will go around the room and answer any questions that we have and help us with the technique if we get lost.

I have been going to this gym for about 4 months now. I have done boxing, combat conditioning, submission wrestling and BJJ. Then on top of that I just started doing Judo and Muy Thai.

To me, these are things that keep me motivated to train, and make me really enjoy my time and how much I am improving at this gym.

The comradery at this gym is top notch. My first week here people were welcoming me and inviting me to lunch with them after practice on Saturday. They really make you feel like you are part of a family.

Another great aspect that really makes this gym are the people that attend. There are no egos here and your training partner doesn't try to beat you up, especially if you are new. I have had the opportunity to roll with close to 80% of the regulars and they are always patient and will give me the opportunity to practice, instead of wailing on me, or making me too frustrated to train.

Before i joined this place, my life was an absolute mess. I was depressed for multiple reasons. I never had interest in academic fields and changed from being a doctor, to a marine, to a software engineer, to business. I liked sports but nothing sparked inside me. I had no idea what to do in life. Not forgetting to mention of being the laziest person on the planet. Gonna be a little stereotypical but even though i'm an Indian, i got awful grades throughout school. At one point, i lost my will to live because not only that i was tired of all the depression but i also lost faith in everything. I just wanted to give up. People advised me to go to a gym and i tried going with friends and alone too but it didn't help. Finally, my best friend advised me to go and fight. It was always in front of my eyes that it was a great hobby of mine but i never got the chance. So I thought why not try and took a blind shot and found Razors Edge Mixed Martial Arts on google when looking for a gym. I went there for a trial day, didn't even gimmie a chance to sit and watch first. Just threw me in like i was already team member. In that wolf pack i found the alpha, Coach Dan. I'll be very honest, he seems like a ruthless ringmaster who will yell at you and spit on your face as he orders you to finish the last rep but truly he has a great heart. This man flipped my whole life around. He has so much experience in this field. Coach Dan is one of those guys who will make you push harder no matter how hard it gets, till you get better. He is very understanding and supportive unlike those coaches who just yell at students and tell them to keep pushing. Don't get me wrong, he does yell but in a motivational way so if you're a person like me who needs a mental boost, this is the perfect place. I finally know what i wanna do with my life and i feel like i'm back on track. If you want intense training, this is the place to come. If you want to see a massive change in yourself physically, mentally, and even emotionally, this is the place to come. If you are looking for a place to be happy, work hard and release your pressure, this is the place to come. If you are looking for a place full of hard workers who have a positive vibe that help you push to a higher level, this is the place. If you are looking for an escape, this is the place to be. If you are looking for a place to teach you things like Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai kick boxing, wrestling, yoga and combat conditioning all in a cheap price, this is the place. You don't need to be a fighter to be here. You can go at your own pace and get great results as you push yourself. ANYONE OF ANY AGE CAN DO IT. By the way, if you need diet plans to help you get fit, Razor Edge got ya back. Best thing about being a part of the family is that it makes me wanna go there all the time and when it's time to leave, I never want to. I'm so thankful to God I found this place, Coach Dan and other coaches like Liu (awesome boxing coach/jiu jitsu coach), other coaches and the hardworking students who go there who are all like a family. Razors Edge is where the monsters are born. Razors Edge is the REAL STUFF.

This is THE place to train whether you're looking to get or stay in shape, learn awesome MMA techniques, or be a serious hardcore competitor. The people here are great and everyone's very encouraging. No matter what skill level you're at, the coaches are very accommodating in working with you. Head Coach Dan will push you to be the best you can be and is someone you can always count on to make you better. The Razors Edge family is definitely one you want to be a part of!

Razors Edge is a place where you can go unsure of yourself in many aspects and leave with a sense of confidence that you can achieve lots of great things with dedication. There's a lot of camaraderie, this is very important part of being a part of the Razors Edge team. Very dynamic classes, great friendly environment and dedicated coaches that always give the best advice and push you to never give up and always keep improving.

My son attends Razors Edge and all I can say is WOW! His social anxiety prevented us from starting earlier but after some research and a few phone calls we decided to give it a try. Within a short period of time his confidence was noticeable. He's made a group of friends that he now looks forward to seeing throughout the week and I couldn't be happier. Coach Dan and the students are very welcoming and so eager to help. They cater to students individual needs instead of pushing everyone in the same manner which is something that made me very happy to see. Classes are very high energy and the group works great together. You can immediately tell Razors is a very tight knit team and everyone is treated like family.
