The therapy sessions are mostly just back and forth talking with no real work taking place to get to the core of the issue.
I called and told them I just wanted to see my psychiatrist and continue to receive medications and try new meditations and was told that she felt uncomfortable treating me.
Overall I am HIGHLY disappointed and now I have to seek a facility that will cost me since the facility's recommended to me by the therapist either cost money or are out of service (proof that they do not care about their patients or else they would of called the numbers before giving them to me.).
The therapist there is helpful and caring but honestly they do not employ modern therapy techniques like CBT, mindfulness therapy, or any other techniques.
I ended up having to pay $125 to see a new psychiatrist just to get one months worth of medication since this Psychiatrist refused to give me a refill on a medication that I have been taking for over a 5 years.
I spoke to the head supervisor and she told me that the Dr is supposed to prescribe at least one month's worth of medication upon not seeing their patient anymore but I was told by the supervisor that they can not force the Dr to do so even though it goes against what they are supposed to do.
Avoid AT ALL COSTS!
Most of what she will tell you is to write down your thoughts and analyze them and she will explain to you how your thoughts are irrational but if you are seeking treatment there you already understand this.
With that being said, AVOID this place like the plague. Save up the $125 or how ever much it costs to see a real psychiatrist as this place is an absolute JOKE.
I also talked to the nurse who was also very unprofessional and she told me to go to the ER if I ran out of medication even though it would cost me an arm and a leg and waste the hospitals time because the psychiatrist then refused to prescribe me one months worth of medications until I could find a new psychiatrist.
I did some research on the Dr and she is not even a psychiatrist.
I was being prescribed medications from her and was going through a family crisis while seeing her when I was given the option of going to an outpatient facility for further treatment. I told her that I would go but then later found out on the phone that I had to be at the outpatient facility for a minimum of 3 days out of the week for approximately 6 to 8 hours a day which I am unable to do.
I am out raged at how heartless and unprofessional that they are at this treatment facility.
The Doctor that I was seeing is very unprofessional and I would steer clear away from this facility.
The nurse is also very rude and not understanding at all and will over talk you on the phone and will not make you feel at ease.
